Fuji X100V: Why I upgraded from my FujiFilm X100F

Fuji did it again.

The X100V is everything you loved in the FujiFilm X100F – but better in every way!

I’ve been a big preacher about how great the Fuji X100F is, whether you’re into street photography or travel photography.

Read the overly-positive reviews on Amazon.

Reasons to choose Fujifilm X100V over Fujifilm X100F

Articulating screen
The X100V comes with a flip-screen to help get those low angle shots.

How the FujiFilm X100V looks

More pixels
If you, like me, crop your photos in post, then you will be please that the X100V has 8% more pixels than the X100F – which means more room for cropping without losing quality.

It also has 100 more focus points, going from 325 to 426.

Continues shooting
Again, if you’re goal is o catch that shot, especially if you’re doing sports photography or photographing things in fast motion, then the 3 extra fps will suit you well.

Battery life:
Fuji also gave their battery life
is a slight upgrade. Instead of taking 390 photos in a single charge, you can now take 420.

Weather-sealing:
The new X100V is weather sealed, which means, it’s much more suitable for all of you, who likes to shoot in rain and in tougher conditions. Again, great for travelers.

What a beauty.

The FujiFilm X100V also supports Bluetooth, ultra-high-speed UHS memory cards.

Video

The camera is also able to record 4K UHD videos.

But if you need a camera for filming, I’d highly recommend you pick Fuji X-T4 instead, because it comes with IBIS (In-body image-stabilization)

Grab your Fuji X100V on Amazon and check out the full specs.
