Gear for taking pictures in the rain

I love rainy street photography and I spent quite a lot of time assembling by weather-resistant equipment for taking pictures in rough weather conditions.

A video of me doing street photography in the rain.

The camera I shoot with is the Fuji X-T3. It’s an award-winning mirrorless camera, that is weather-sealed!

Timberland weatherproof boots

I just invested in some waterproof boots and it’s amazing to come home, without soaking wet socks after a rainy day of taking pictures.

Weatherproof boots are key. Seriously. Find them on Amazon.

Weatherproof photography bag from Peak Design
Read the reviews of this bag on Amazon.

This is a waterproof photography bag and it’s from the guys over at Peak Design. There are for sure cheaper options, but I love the design and functionality of peak design bags.

Get the Travel bag on Amazon.

If you’re into travel or landscape photography, where you will be unsure about the weather conditions, it’s a must to carry your photography gear in a weatherproof bag. If you want, you can also go for a waterproof cover for your photography bag.

Rain cover for your camera

This is the recommended rain cover by professionals. Get it on Amazon.

I’d advise you to buy a raincoat for your DSLR or mirrorless camera with a waterproof cover. They come in all shapes and sizes, but a lot of professional photographers recommend the Vortex Media Storm Jacket.
